CDs not going away
This chart shows the percentage of albums sales that are CD orders (vs downloads) from 2004 (when we introduced CDs) to today (end of 2006).
As you can see, CD sales as a percentage of total sales is remaining quite steady.
I'm currently looking into ways to increase that, possibly by making full-quality CDs in jewel boxes, with artwork, possibly also selling direct to small independent store owners.
