Song of the Day is popular
Just 3 weeks after starting up, the Free Song of the Song feature at Magnatune is quite popular.
The list now has 500 subscribers, and by a net total of 14 people a day (20 new subscribers, 4 people leaving per day, 2 bad email addresses)

Well done. What are the corresponding downloads like? It would be interesting to know how many subscribers regularly download the song.

I subscribed to the mailing list a little while ago and I have a suggestion: include more information on the song of the day, about the genre, the song and the artist(s). It's a pretty terse mailing right now that doesn't include much information and as a result it may not be living up to its full potential as a promotional tool.
Just my comments from the peanut gallery. :-)
